Chicken In A Barrel Bbq - HANALEI

Fiancé and I shared the #4 chicken and ribbed plate and loaded pommes with shredded chicken. We enjoyed everything especially with their BBQ sauces (Picky and Regular). The plate also came with a small cup chili. Outside seats were beautiful.

All right. The sampler plate is a very generous part; the meat was great and the sweet potato fries really to the point. I didn't love the sauce. It's too sweet and viscous for me. I think the spicy could use something special spice and warmth.

The value for the cost is good. The meat is good. The service was fast even though he was busy. The workers were alive and happy to be there and serve us. You also have a voucher in the visitor guide booklet offering a free pulled pig sandwich when you buy a duck.

Loved this island BBQ joint. Great no frills BBQ. Delicious flavor on all the items that we had. The chicken and ribs were tender and tasty. The definite star of the meal was the loaded fries! So awesome! Loaded with cheese, cilantro sauce, pico de gallo, and chicken (you choose the meat). I?d go back just for those! The employees were great too. Explained the menu and choices, and made suggestions.

We were drawn by the smoky smell. Super busy but fast service. Limited seating. Sink and soap available for sticky hands. They had our bowls ready in less than 5 mins. Softest chicken ever! And the ribs and chilli were delish.
