Contribuiți la feedbackThe Lower Deck is a great place to visit! For only $9, you can enjoy live music, delicious food (at reasonable prices), and excellent service. The atmosphere truly captures the essence of East Coast culture, making it a must-visit spot. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this restaurant offers a fantastic combination of entertainment, cuisine, and ambiance that is unbeatable.
Overall experience was not pleasant. This was recommended by my friend, so we thought to give it a try. Bartenders was fantastic, very professional and helpful all around, however, the waitress on the other side was completely different. Not only she forget to check on our table for about 35 minutes (this was us asking for the waitress twice, and she was checking on other tables in front of us), she was also very rude to us. We waited about a hour before we got our food, which is only single appetizer. Honestly, we thought this was a good restaurant but it really failed our expectation. We felt no other things other than being racial discriminated because people came after us, got they order taken before we did. Service seems to be a main failure that people has mentioned in the previous comments, so I am glad to see we are not the only one who are treated wrong. Would I recommend this place for a quick drink? Sure, it has its scenery. For food, save some time and eat before you come for drinks because you might starve for a while.
Stopped in for a quick dinner and stayed half the night. The staff is friendly, the food was good and then the band started. I believe they were called Shade and they played classic rock to top 40 pop. If you closed your eyes, you would think it was the real band. It is a standard drink selection. There are no specialty drinks, beer, wine and bar shots.Parking: This restaurant is located on the waterfront so there is plenty of parking just not right at the restaurant.
In the past we have loved the Lower Deck. Always come when we are in town. But the last two summers have been crazy trying to get into the courtyard parties. The majority of the lineup is young 20s, yelling, pushing other people and drunk in massive lineup to get a wrist band. The lineup goes around the corner and with so many people intoxicated and pushing to move up it was nerve wracking being so crowded on a very busy street. Even at the 5pm wristband lineup. Staff do not patrol the line. We waited for over an hour and didn’t see one staff member checking things out. At one point a group of ten plus people came and cut in front of us, saying their friends were saving their spot in line. It’s only a matter of time before something unfortunate happens safety wise. Something to consider in the future is maybe moving to an online purchase system for tickets. The crowd has gone from all ages to a young sloppy mess. Not that we are super old and don’t like to have a good time (mid to late 30s that love to have a good time, have drinks and dance the night away) but it’s gone from a fun jigging time to a younger crowd that is super intoxicated. I reached out on Instagram direct message, message was read with no reply.
I've only been to the lower deck for the music in the courtyard during the warmer months but I must say it is one of my favourite places to go in the summer. It is a great place to go with friends for a bit of music and a fun night!Parking: There is a paid parking garage a couple streets down, as well as a mixture of paid and free street parking (although it's mostly paid street parking). It does tend to be more difficult to find a place to park the later it gets on nights where there is a band performing in the lower deck courtyard.
