West Winds - Green River

If you happen to be passing by, make sure to stop at Green River and give this place a try. The breakfast is excellent and the coffee is top-notch. I've heard rumors that it may be torn down and replaced by a Wendy's, which is a shame. Adding a little finesse to attract more customers could help it stay in business.

I will never go back to this restaurant since the new owners are in charge. The service is simply terrible, as they do not care about the customers.

While driving past the pilot sign, truck drivers may notice a small restaurant called West Wind. However, upon visiting around 2 pm, it is clear that the new manager is rude and unprofessional, potentially harming the business. Avoid coming here, as it is not recommended.

First off, the server was wonderful- so sweet, polite and very apologetic for our wait time. We got there around the same time as several other diners, and we ordered right away but then had to wait nearly an hour for our food. And the food was awful. I had a French dip and my partner had a philly, on both the roast beef was cut way too thick and it was so tough it was hard to take a bite out of the sandwich. The fries were pretty good. And the nice waitress took 10 off our check since we had to wait so long. I would not go back tho.

When reading reviews thought it would be a good place to try. We must have caught them on an off day. My daughter had pancakes eggs and sausage. Pancakes and sausage were good but the eggs were drenched in butter as were mine with my chicken fried steak which was possibly the worst thing I have ever been served at any restaurant! I drive truck over the road so that is really saying alot. On the plus side their sausage gravy was good as were the hash browns. By the way the dog wouldn't even eat the chicken fried steak.
