Pond Cafe - GIRDWOOD

It was nothing extraordinary. I had breakfast there two mornings; the omelette was decent, but the breakfast burrito was quite doughy. The coffee was just average. Next time, I'll head down to the Bake Shop for breakfast instead.

It’s great to find a quality breakfast spot at the resort. We had breakfast here every morning and thoroughly enjoyed it. The prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are generous. I also appreciate the service here; the staff is very sweet and friendly. The dinner menu is excellent as well, and I highly recommend the Americano Pizza—it's delicious! If you're staying at the resort, the Pond Cafe is a lovely option for both breakfast and dinner.

The service was excellent, and in my view, the dishes on this menu are the finest in the entire resort. Thanks to the outdoor seating, you can savor a stunning view alongside your meal. This month's special entree, which was lamb with blueberry sauce, was nothing short of a masterpiece, featuring tender, flavorful meat complemented by the tangy sauce. I made sure to indulge in all things blueberry while it's still blueberry season!

The breakfast food was really good and hearty. We ordered the Hunter's omelet and the menu says its made with three eggs. The omelet was made with more than three eggs and definitely filling. I only finished hald and my husband, who eatsmore than me, didn't finish his either. From the lunch and dinner menus we ordered the margherita pizza, which did not have enough tomato sauce but tasted really good. I ordered a burger and fries that was decent. I also ordered the reindeer bolognese that I cannot recommend enough! So good! Best thing on the menu. Husband ordered a steak medium, and got it well done. His plate was not the best. Great customer service though! Our waiter and another server checked in on us and offered a replacement. We didn't have time to wait so we got free dessert instead for our troubles. The vanilla gelato was good, and asking for some chocolate drizzle really brought the flavor together. The baked Alyeska ? was not what we thought. Too much mousse for our taste and not enough chocolate cake, so the item description was a little misleading on that one. Overall, good food, not quite decent price for portions, but great service.

The smoked salmon Benedict was incredible. Can't beat the ambiance either. The king crab Benedict not as good. My wive enjoyed the buffet.
