What a gem in a small townYou walk in to The Bake Shop to the aroma of fresh baking bread, and sweetness from the sweet rolls.

We hit the Bake Shop as part of an organized tourWe sampled both the Bean with Ham Soup snd the Ground Nut Stew.

We stopped here on the way from Seward to Anchorage on a Friday around 230pm and I thought it was just OK - definitely a locals place.

Hands down the best french toast and cinnamon rolls I've ever had. The sourdough pancakes are pretty good too. We kept coming back to this place on our trip because the food was so delicious. I wish I could just bring the whole restaurant home with me.

This place is SO good. We came here twice in days on our vacation. Quick service and the waiting in line is so worth it. The breakfast sandwich is amazing and so is the sourdough toast. They have homemade jams which are great. Definitely a must visit if you are in the area
