Daniel's - Genoa

Daniel’s is the first place I think of when fine dining is what we want. The food has always been fabulous, and our recent visit was our fourth. The beautiful room and fireplaces lend to the quiet warm ambience for your dining experience. The staff and servers are efficient without constantly hovering giving diners the ability to enjoy the food and to continue their conservation without interruption.

Food was just OK. It’s pretty expensive for what you get. There must’ve been a lot of preservatives in the food because it caused me to have significant heartburn. The dessert was awesome and I would go back for dessert again. Menu was pretty limited, however, for entrées.

We had a wonderful experience. Excellent service, the meal was amazing, cocktails were great and the restaurant is just beautiful. We will be back soon!

Our food and beverages were perfection as always. A sudden rush near the end of our evening caused caused delays in dessert and the check, but otherwise the service was equally excellent. This restaurant is a gift to the Carson Valley.

We have dined at this restaurant twice and both times the experience was average for the price. As someone who tends to see the positive side of things, I must say that the quality of the food did not seem to justify the cost in my opinion.
