Pure Pho Grill - Forsyth County

Cute and clean spot with clean bathroom and very good service. Pho broth was not bad. I'd say 3/5. Fried half chicken was like a tiny quail, and so dry the meat was like jerkey, i give it 0/5. The nuoc mam (sweet fish sauce) that comes with it was so sweet like bottled Sweet Thai chili sauce. Had to ask for plain fish sauce and add lime. The sauce was okay for the fried egg rolls but for rice, it was too sweet. I'd give the fried spring rolls 5/5 since it tasted fresh and crispy eventhough it didn't come with lettuce and the sauce again was that sweet thick sauce. Overall, i would probably not go back.

Absolutely an amazing Pho BBQ Pork Spring Rolls (old marinade Mr. Kevin ??? of the chain!!! Probably one of the TOP Pho Restaurants in around Atlanta unusual location area but that's what is especially helpful cause you won't find a better place in around those demographics. Think Gordon Ramsey Anthony Bourdain would approve of its palate pleasing broth and dishes ...

The menu has false advertisement. It has $2 to add a protein, but I was charged $5 and told oh yeah, it 's confusing... sorry and they knowledged the menu doesn 't state this yet refused to correct my ticket. Then on top of that, they only gave my daughter two shrimp for the added protein we paid for. The food was mediocre, lacking flavor. The stir fry is more like steamed... soft and mushy. The rice was undercooked. It was pretty empty inside and now I see why. Never again.

I really don't like to write a poor review but this place was horrid. I was in Cumming and didn't want to drive to Buford Hwy for a bowl of pho so this is where I landed thanks to Yelp. I admit I am a pho-aholoic having eaten it all over the country. First impression on walking in was that the decor was nice and I was greeted quickly. It was just after noon and maybe 5 occupied tables. I sat down and rested my forearms on the table, to which they promptly stuck with the force of having been coated with gorilla glue. I placed my ordered asking for tai and nam in a medium bowl and the server looked surprised that I knew the Viet words for the cuts I wanted. I decided to use the ladies room while waiting for my order. Walking to the back of the restaurant my shoes stuck to the floor with every step making an audible squeak. Get to the loo and 1 stall had a giant dead roach on the floor so go to the 2nd stall. The floor was wet and the toilet seat was covered in urine. I should have just walked out but went back to my table and laid napkins on it so my arms wouldn't stick. When the server came with the pho I told her the restroom needed cleaning. she looked at me like she didn't understand.To the soup. Pho is all about the broth and this tasted of dirty dishwater. No hint of cinnamon, anise, etc. and had all the depth of the kiddie end of the pool. It actually tasted off as if it were slightly spoiled. Upon digging I found still crunchy, undercooked rice noodles and tai and chin, not Tai and nam. Sorry, no amount of fish sauce, which I asked for but never got, could save this bowl.Paid $14 for this with water as a beverage. Left $15, walked out hungry, took my boots off and put them in a bag in my trunk to be disinfected and drove home in my socks.I know places are understaffed but this was more than short staffing. I'll make Chef Jet Tila's quick pho at home and not need to spray my shoes with Lysol and take a shower to wash off the skank. I noticed this morning that my fabric purse, which I'd placed on the booth seat next to me is stained. What a lovely bonus for my wasted $15.Never again.

My wife and I have dined at Pure Pho Grill so many times. Their food is so very delicious and staff is so very wonderful. They are all so very friendly and so very nice. Their jasmine tea really hits the spot. Their spring rolls are so very tasty. Their pork chops are so very scrumptious. What a great restaurant to dine in. I will definitely come back to Pure Pho Grill for their excellent staff and very good food.
