Cafe At Forrest Guesthouse

Made our Boxing Day 2014. Welcoming country vibe beautiful sunny garden but most importantly extremely well thought through sophisticated delicious locally sourced dishes in a lovely environment. We are from Fitzroy and are surrounded by good restaurants but this beats the lot! Very nice good food without any pretention. Stop in for just a casual coffee, cake, a wine, or go for a meal! Go around the back to the garden! Oh and very child friendly for our 1 and 4 year old w pencils and children's menu :

What a gem. Best value in district, excellent food with great service and presentation. We enjoyed the 5 course set menu offered in the evening. From the homemade rye bread to the chocolate dessert all was superb.

This is a must visit for dinner (Thursday-Saturday nights only)! The food is delicious, tasty and very well done. We had the tasting menu which consisted of each menu item for only $45 or you can order items individually. Is well worth making the effort to get out to Forrest for this little gem.

Incredible food! The use of locally sourced ingredients is wonderfully innovative. The menu is perfectly balanced. Mmmm. We will definitely be returning!

I had lunch today at the Forrest Guesthouse Restaurant, known as Bespoke Harvest, and it was outstanding. The setting is beautiful; we enjoyed our meal outside in the lovely garden, which was a delight in itself. The food was absolutely delicious, featuring mostly locally sourced ingredients and a fantastic mix of intriguing flavors. The chef previously worked at Scorched in Torquay, which is also known for its delicious dishes. The coffee was excellent, too. The prices here offer terrific value—I'd typically expect to pay much more for food of this quality. Bespoke Harvest is truly a destination in its own right. It’s even better when combined with some fantastic mountain biking on the trails in Forrest.
