This place is a 5 star across the board. The food was delicious, the atmosphere charming, and service made you feel like you were visiting with a cousin or good friend. Staff were lovely and welcoming. Beautiful place to have a meal/drinks. Food was okay. Calamari was rubbery and a very small portion for the price. It was served with deep fried veg which was odd and wasn't pleasant. Chips weren't crispy and tasted like oil. Burger was very pink in the middle. We weren't asked if we were okay with that. It wasnt very flavoursome, had to add bbq Sause. The roll wasn't toasted so went soggy with the red juices of the burger. The chicken starter tasted like oil and The haggis balls were soggy in the middle. Over all we feel the oil wasn't hot enough and hadn't been changed in some time. The food was over priced for the portion sizes and quality presented. We will definitely be back for drinks but sadly not food.
