Canyon Country Lodge - Escalante

I visited this restaurant shortly after it opened and returned recently. It still has a fresh, new feel to it. The establishment is impeccably maintained and very clean. The staff was wonderful to interact with, going above and beyond to ensure our experience was enjoyable.

What a hidden gem! This place has the best bed I've ever slept in! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were headed to Hell's Backbone Farm for dinner, and this hotel was the closest affordable option. It was quiet and equipped with all the amenities. The breakfast bar offered make-your-own waffles, cereal, excellent coffee, eggs, potatoes, sausage, and yogurt… it was really fantastic!

I couldn’t help but admire the elegantly decorated lobby, where I planned to spend part of my morning sipping tea, taking in the stunning view, and writing this review. Our double queen bed room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and filled with a fresh, clean scent alongside high-quality linens. The bathroom was absolutely gorgeous. Breakfast offered a variety of options to please my entire family, ensuring we were well-fed and ready to continue our journey. My only regret is that we couldn't stay for more than one night. A heartfelt thanks to the owners and staff of this lovely lodge for providing a small-town hospitality that made us feel like friends visiting a beautiful home!

I anticipated a typical small-town hotel, but what we encountered was a five-star experience. The rooms were spacious, featuring a big-screen TV with all the channels available, and the air conditioning was excellent. The hotel was clean and quiet, and the large walk-in shower was a great touch. The walls were adorned with beautiful Southern Utah artworks. There was a complimentary breakfast and an on-site restaurant. The staff was friendly, and the hotel also offered a large pool and hot tub.

We stayed at a charming lodge-like hotel that we really enjoyed. The room was spacious, and the linens were clean and soft. The large tiled shower was a nice touch. We would definitely recommend this hotel! The continental breakfast was satisfactory and in line with what you would expect from a hotel. The owner was often on-site, which added a nice personal touch, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
