They have a daily special so it kinda help me to decide what to get. I thought the soup beans need more salt but that wasn't a big deal. I will definitely go back. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner

If you want truly good home cooked food at reasonable prices and enjoy mom and pop local restaurants this is the place to go in Elizabethton Tennessee. Portion sizes were more than adequate and service is friendly and very helpful. My only negative, and I know this is strictly a matter of taste, was that the breading on the catfish was a bit too salty. Having been in the food service industry for 11 years I am aware that this frequently happens when the cook who prepared the dish is a smoker. Smoking inhibits the taste buds and frequently results in over seasoning. All in all this small seasoning issue does not detract from the fact that the food served in this establishment is Top Notch for the cost. They have daily specials that should not be ignored. The new owners will be taking over shortly and perhaps will address this minor issue.
