Red Chili - Elizabethton

I'm really sorry to have to leave this review as I had high hopes and drove 1 hour to try it. When my parents and I got there there was only one person (the owner) cooking and waiting tables. She took our order but was very short and blunt. No friendliness at all. We did not wait long for the food, but, my Dad's food came out in a Styrofoam container because she said she didn't have time to wash plates. The Bibimbap was waaaay too sweet and so were my Dad's noodles. There were no complimentary side dishes and each side dish is 4.95. I order two Kimchi for my Mom and I. The kimchi was good. When it was time to leave I overheard another table saying she charged for 5ake home containers so I just put mind in my Dad's dinner container. The total was $74! I had high hopes for this.

First time here and the food was great, my wife had the Bim Bob, or something like that and I had the Korean curry chicken. Both were very good ?Food: 5/5

Really good food, which is not easy to find in Elizabethton, TN. The owner was literally doing everything herself cooking, greeting guests, ringing up orders and answering phones, which might explain why other reviewers though she was blunt.Food: 5/5

It was “lunch and a show” for sure. It felt almost like being in a sitcom. The owner, a middle-aged Korean woman, was so rude or blunt that it was comical to sit back and watch the things she would say to other customers. it was kind of hard to enjoy our food because the environment was tense and a bit uncomfortable, even though entertaining. If you try Red Chili, be prepared. The best food was the pot stickers and fried rice.

The food was absolutely disgusting. No flavor whatsoever. Never again.Service: 2/5
