I've been a fan of Herfy's for 25 years. It's a family-owned restaurant, and there's just something special about a burger cooked on a flat top that you can't find anywhere else. Their shakes are fantastic as well. I absolutely love this place!
French fries were fresh, hot and crispy. Bun was pretty good. Burger a bit dry.
The owners are fantastic. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Their crinkle-cut fries are excellent. I usually go for the burger, but the fish is also quite good.
This restaurant offers some truly fantastic burgers! The fries are also quite enjoyable. They serve a variety of delicious shakes, available in nearly every flavor you can imagine, although they are made with the same syrups found in many coffee shops, which might come off as slightly artificial depending on your choice. The menu includes a few teriyaki dishes and gyoza, which struck me as a bit unusual, but then again, it’s Seattle—embracing the quirky is part of the charm here. We didn’t try those dishes this time, but I might consider them on our next visit. A burger paired with gyoza instead of fries could be an interesting twist! We ordered our food to go and only had to wait about five minutes. The dining area is relatively small, but that didn’t bother us. It seems like this place may have originally operated as a walk-up spot, with a dining room added later, though that’s just my speculation. It's definitely a family-owned restaurant, which I always appreciate. I recommend giving it a try—you might be pleasantly surprised! We’ll certainly be returning.
