Ishka - Edinburgh

I stayed at the Scotsman for 4 days/3 nights in October 2017.

This was basically the worst afternoon tea I have ever had.

This hotel represents the look and feel one expects in Scotland! It's a great hotel in a great locationIt is part of the I-prefer group.

This restaurant no longer exists. We booked a table online and got there to find it was gone, it is now a cocktail bar. The menu is available to view online, and it looks genuine. But is has long gone. Do not book,

Ishka is simply amazing! The cosy stylish environment, the beautiful cocktails and the perfect food really was a highlight of our Wedding!! We had a small wedding at the castle and had our wedding breakfast at Ishka for 32. Claire and her team went above and beyond to ensure that our day was perfect, setting up beautifully, helping to pick our own menu and even setting up our cake for us! We decided on a package were we were welcomed with Prosecco and then had a three course meal with tea and coffee after. Communication with Claire was perfect and easy, she really understood the relaxed atmosphere we were going for!! They were all just so attentive and everyone was blown away with the quality of the food and the whole experience!! We would definitely recommend ishka for everything! It’s l perfect for a small wedding as it’s classy, intimate and friendly! Thank you so much ISHKA you were completely perfect and we all will be returning!! The Massam’s! Xx
