Gia Hua Chinese Takeaway

Worst meal we have ever had. The chicken chowmein was so salty we couldn't eat it. The special fried rice consisted of alot of rice, a few peas and a couple of prawns. No meat. A waste of £21 wouldn't be using them again.

I haven't been to this restaurant in a while because the last time I went, the food was terrible. However, I decided to give it another chance, but unfortunately, it was even worse this time. Everything we ordered was subpar and not enjoyable.

We frequently order takeout from this restaurant and always enjoy our meals. The service is fast and friendly. Our favorite dishes are the chicken chow mein and the special foo yung.

Ordered takeaway sweet and sour chicken with special rice opting for Hong Kong style. Portion size large but the chicken was thin strips of chewy and inedible in an average sauce with lots of filler. It was so bad we called to mention the chicken and were told this is Cantonese chicken and some people prefer the texture. Not for us and giving it a swerve going forward.

This Chinese takeout restaurant is the best in the area, serving delicious freshly cooked food in generous portions that are definitely worth the price. It is a family-owned business that consistently delivers fantastic Chinese cuisine.
