Margaritas Mexican - East Hartford

Very delicious food, quiet place to have a good time

Me and my girls pulled up to Margaritas’s the other night and it was crappy. Service was whack. No personality. We always come in to have a good time and drink. I understand that she was busy but when we sat down and realized the table was dirty and asked for her to please clean it she gave us attitude and walked away. Don’t remember her name but she wore glasses and she was a big girl. It took her around ten minutes to clean the table. We asked her for waters that we never received and I had to get up and grab napkins myself. I was pissed. I love this spot but the attention was just not there that night. I went looking for her to put in more drinks and she was on her phone chit chatting with another server. Unbelievable. We had to keep asking random servers to put in drinks for us. The whole experience was just not a vibe. I always sit by the bar but that night it was just uncomfortable. there were multiple women standing up in the booths twerking and shaking their behinds. Panties out. I get ppl wanna have a good time but that’s too much for a place that’s supposed to be a family restaurant.

Didn't even get a chance to try the food. Brought a group of 14 business associates, and it was as if we were inconveniencing then. We took our business elsewhere, very unfortunate. Especially when we regularly have 20-40 associates staying in the area for weeks at a time.

Nothing Mexican about this place we served with plastic cups I had to ask for silver ware few times after we sat down. Waitress was rude she was literally throwing things at our table. We also just witness they just declined to serve group of people because they all ask for separate checks. Food was horrible it’s like a pile of dog food we didn’t even eat the half of it. I told the waitress something sour and off with the ground beef in my taco all I get is attitude from the waitress.Update later manager come to our table and took the food out of our check.

Husband and I both ordered the chicken tacos. The tacos had zero flavor and the chicken tasted watered down. The waitress was understanding and agreed that the chicken tacos are flavorless. The management initially said he couldn’t remove the tacos from our bill because we had each eaten 1. He finally did reluctantly remove the tacos from our bill. Terrible food and terrible management.
