Ruth's Chris Steak House Hartford

The staff was excellent and everything was delicious, minus the lobster bisque, which was a bit tangy. overall I enjoyed my experience and my server was amazing!

My wife and I have always loved ruth’s chris, and we have eaten a lot, so it hurts me to be so critical. when we entered the new facility, we both thought we were going to the street in the diner. The dark steakhouse chairs were over, replaced by diner and tiffany blue and a lightness that seemed out of place. we sat in the back and the service started great and we thought, ok, we can get past the lack of ambiente, we are here for eating. we were wrong. the barbecue shrimp is one of our staples, but the last time we ordered it was the soße different, thicker and creamier and not as sharp. our waiter assured us that this time would be different, he was wrongly informed. the chopped salad and creamed spinach were great. the porterhouse was disappointing as soon as the waiter with it approached our table, this beautiful sizzle was missing. our server has even pointed out that it should not be as sizzling as it should. the taste was there, but even the quality did not seem the same. the service that started great began to black, and we both agreed that it was a disappointing night in the rc. we love the place enough that we go back and pray that it will be better and bring back the feeling of the steakhouse.

Out waiter Dejon was excellent. He had a wonderful personality and provided great Dejon. The food was very good.

Steaks were tough, ribeye was full of gristle. Pretty disappointing at these prices. Ken the waiter was terrific
