Recently changed hands and new owners are brilliant, personable, friendly went to great lengths to describe the ingredients and methods used to prepare the dishes. steak pie was superb as the fish and chips. great discovery. will not be disappointed. over the expectations. wants to see with fish and chips muddy heaps, but otherwise brilliant.

One of the best bars in dundee. if she needs a certain diet the staff and the owner will be happy to fulfill them for them. the atmosphere is friendly and casual, and they will be greeted as family. I couldn't recommend macdaniels anymore.

Nicely furnished bar. jazz themen decor. friendly staff and excellent selection of beer and spirituosen. worth a visit.

My pals are always in here and love it so I tried it as I'm not local and it's a great place to go for a drink and laugh
