Riverview Bistro - Dubbo

Arrived in Dubbo to visit the sites that the city had to offer over a few days. But to do this you always need to refuel the family to ensure that everyone is catered for and gets the holiday off to a great start. If this is the case, then this is the place to start. Across the five off there was not one bad comment but rather total satisfaction. From a great vegetarian dish for the fussy one to the big perfectly cooked steak and burgers with the lot catered for all the remaining tastes. A great bar inside the bistro that doesn't burn a hole in your pocket.You won't be disappointed by this honest bistro food.

What a great welcome received by Doorman - ease of sign in - directions to areas of interest, and wow great food - from awesome, mature wait staff in the restaurant. The view was to 'die for'

We dined here on our first night in Dubbo and our meals were not only well-cooked and delicious but also were big servings and moderately priced. We enjoyed the restaurant so much we returned the next night for a more casual dinner, which was also excellent.

Called at the bistro for dinner, enticed by the house super burger at nearly $20 . Expected moist , flame grilled super burger with everything. If I said it was tepid ,I'm being kind, just off cold is where it was at . The rissole was dry tough and appeared to have been cooked well before I placed my order . All Australians know a good moist hot burger . Next time I'll know where to get one - McDonalds , at least the kids there can produce something better than the cook at this place.
