Ahi Poke - Dothan

Absolutely delicious! The fresh vegetables were fantastic. I ordered a regular-sized dish with spicy tuna, salmon, and the house sauce. The seaweed salad was excellent as well. Make sure to try the furikake seasoning; it really enhances the flavor. I'm so glad I discovered this place in Dothan!

The sushi in a bowl was fantastic! I've tried two different options and enjoyed both immensely! This will definitely be a regular spot for us.

Absolutely fantastic! I ordered the unagi bowl, while my wife had the gulf tempura bowl. Both were delicious! The service was excellent as well. This will definitely be our new go-to lunch spot!

The food was passable, but I wasn't thrilled about paying $15 for a bowl that was mostly filled with what they called "spicy" mayo (which was really just mayonnaise with a splash of sriracha). The staff was unfriendly and seemed annoyed by my 8-year-old who was genuinely excited to place her order (apparently, she wasn't moving fast enough for them). During the entire ordering process, we received dirty looks, and when I left a $2 tip on a $24 bill, they literally turned their noses up at me. I can't justify leaving a 20% tip when the staff only rudely stared at us while filling a bowl with mayo. This was a disappointing experience and not at all representative of what poke should taste like. I won't be returning.

I recently visited Guam to see my son and daughter-in-law, who are serving in the Navy. I really enjoyed the local restaurants that offered Ahi Poke Bowls. It was great to share this experience with my son and his wife, who will be stationed at Fort Rucker in Alabama for the next 16 months. I highly recommend trying the Super Bowl!
