The two brothers Alexander and Constantin of the bees were born in Hong Kong and spent their childhood and youth there. Of course, they also had to know and love Asian cuisine, with the fresh and low-calorie ingredients and the amazingly short preparation times they notice especially. When they came to Germany as adults, they should be shocked by what is offered here as an Asian cuisine, and decided to establish their own company. In the meantime, there are branches working according to the franchise system in several cities: Berlin, Darmstadt, Dortmund, Essen, Frankfurt am Main, Mannheim, Osnabrück, Stuttgart, Sulzbach and Prague; the latest locations are Dresden, Düsseldorf and Cologne. »The branch in Dortmund« Since the merger of the premises of an earlier ice cream café and a pizzeria and all other selection criteria, the Dortmund branch was opened at the Peace Square at the end of 2017. Very close to the town hall and the two town houses are an ideal location for a gastronomy. The exterior is unspectacular, but the interior design reflects the business principle of interesting combinations. When foods are the different ingredients and spices, it is the opposites between old and new or asian and European. The former division of two is still recognizable and was used for spatial design. In the smaller part a staircase leads to open kitchen on the upper floor. Below there are rooms for different groups of guests. Furniture and decoration are very diverse. The menu (originally bound in wooden backs) is not very extensive, but certainly offers something for every taste. Interesting are the daily menus consisting of three selectable parts: drink, appetizer and main dish, and at the price of only 9.50€. Here are two examples: A) ginger limongrass soup, glass noodles and fried noodles with various vegetables B) Melons iced tea, salad and crispy chickens with vegetables and rice To the soup that did not match my taste, everything was fantastic fresh and well seasoned. Luckily there are some things on the menu that seem interesting. As regards the plant, the photos appear overloaded as the actual appearance.

The food was delicious! the ambiente is really cozy and it has a beautiful modern Asian style. the staff is really friendly and friendly. would definitely recommend!

Coa is a really stylish modern Asian place in the city center. the personal is exceptionally friendly. they serve quite everything from Chinese to Thai, so they do not expect it to be too authentic. but they can mix starter tapas style and they have a worthy lunch menu. the limonades are worth a try. I'll be back in a moment.

It is nicely furnished, comfortable restaurant with friendly staff. her lemongrass-girl-limmonade is very good. it had no added sugar and was very refreshing. I should have ordered the big size. they also have vegetarian and vegan dishes. I don't know Asian cuisine. I found her menu a little complicated and not to order what I really wanted to eat. so I can't say that I enjoyed eating very well, but it was well prepared, beautifully presented and healthy. I had no digestion problems. I didn't like the location of the toilet room. they have to go down, with a steep and long staircase. I don't know if there was a restroom with a simple access for disabled people.
