The Blue Haven - Donegal

We recently dined at the Blue Haven Hotel in Killybegs and were absolutely delighted with our experience. The hotel itself was stunning, the food was excellent, and the views were breathtaking. One of the highlights of our stay was meeting Rebecca O'Donnell. She was not only incredibly efficient, but also funny, kind, and thoughtful. We will definitely be returning to enjoy the scenery and catch up with our new friend, Rebecca. Thank you for making our visit so special.

My partner and I had our wedding reception at this venue on Saturday, October 23rd. I must say, the entire reception was wonderful. The food was excellent, and the staff were very attentive to all of our needs throughout the day. I would definitely recommend this venue to others.

I can't say enough about this place. They truly made our wedding day stress-free. They went the extra mile to ensure our day was memorable. The place itself is nice, modern and comfortable. Starter: sea fish chowder and bread really nice, creamy with lots of differnet fish. Main: Sirloin off the joint portions were far too much incl. veg and potato (most of which went to waste hope went to homeless or animals! , meat was overcooked and dry, potato thick, dry and very unpalatable should be creamy

Highly recommended. Terence, Angela, Anne and the crew at the Blue Haven went above and beyond for our wedding. They were extremely accommodating from start to finish from helping us put together an outside reception (They even potted lovely new flowers painted the entire hotel the week before the wedding! to allowing us to alter the menu to include a Beef Green Thai Curry (which was absolutely delicious . The venue has the most beautiful views, the food was 5 star and they managed to serve our 370 guests in a timely fashion! We could not have asked for more from the hotel. 5 stars.
