Dawros Bay House - Donegal

Stayed for a magical night in this house with Joe and Maria and ate an exquisite seafood dinner ! Can't explain how atmospheric and unique this house/pub/restaurant is. Wonderful spectacular views, generous friendly hosts, quirky funky decor with antique charm, delicious local food. An artists paradise. A gem of a place that people want to keep a secret it should be preserved and supported and really is a charming and incredibly wild spot ! We are definitely returning for a longer stay.

We had a truly magical evening at Joe and Maria's delightful home, where we savored a delectable seafood dinner! It's difficult to describe the ambiance and charm of this house/pub/restaurant. The stunning views, welcoming hosts, eclectic antique decor, and delicious local dishes make it a haven for artists. This hidden gem deserves to be appreciated and frequented, as it is a wonderfully unique and charming destination! We are already planning our return for a longer visit.

We enjoyed a fantastic takeaway tonight. Among the five of us, everyone ordered the fish and chips, while one person opted for the tempura prawns. Everyone was impressed by the excellent quality of the food and the very reasonable prices.

This is a warm, family-owned restaurant situated in a lovely setting. The food is delicious, the staff is attentive, and there’s a cheerful dog to entertain the kids. If you’re searching for an authentic, no-frills local restaurant with excellent seafood and a pleasant ambiance, this is the spot to check out. The Guinness is fantastic as well!

My family from Munich and I made a reservation for 9 people at this restaurant. We started with crab tian, goats cheese and red onion bruschetta, and the tomato and mozzarella salad, all of which were delicious. For our main courses, we had lobster, cheeseburger, cassoulet, and a couple of the kids had goujons. All of the food was excellent, served with fantastic chips and salad. We particularly enjoyed the lobster. The service was outstanding, very friendly, and the cozy atmosphere with the roaring open fire made the whole experience amazing. You have helped our family create a special memory that will last a long time. Thank you.
