Leroux - Denver

This is a fantastic French bistro in Denver. We had reservations for 8:30 PM and were seated fairly quickly. It seemed like they were a bit short-staffed, as we had to wait until my husband asked for our drink order to see our waitress. Nevertheless, she was really friendly, and it's clear they were just busy. The Cabernet Franc was enjoyable, and they have a nice selection of beers as well. For appetizers, we ordered deviled eggs and oysters, both of which were excellent!

Everyone should visit for brunch right now! I didn't realize Saturday brunch was a new addition for them, but I was truly impressed. We enjoyed the oysters (served with a grape—such a unique and delicious touch), eggs in purgatory, and an avocado BLT, along with some Bellinis. Everything was incredibly tasty, and the staff was very friendly. Be sure to stop by and try their brunch!

The food was decent, but the service left much to be desired. We felt sidelined for the duration of our meal. The waitress didn’t even introduce herself; she simply lingered by our table without inquiring if we needed anything. A typical waiter would engage us by asking if we wanted to start with a cocktail or if we were ready to order, but instead, we found ourselves trying to decipher what she wanted to communicate each time she approached our table. This is a really cool French bistro in Denver. We had 8:30 pm reservations, we’re seated pretty promptly. I think they were operating short staffed so to put our drinks order in after we sat down we didn’t see our waitress till my husband asked. But even still, she was very sweet, you could tell they were just busy and short on staff. The cab franc is pretty good and their beer selection isn’t bad either. We had deviled eggs and oysters for apps, both were really good! My husband had the salmon which is arguably the best he’s ever had and I agree! The mix of flavors is delicious. I had the linguine which was also good but his entree was definitely better. Really cute a lot for a date night, would definitely recommend it!

Best French onion soup I've ever had, absolutely a must order. The service here was top notch, all the food was absolutely delicious and the restaurant decor was inviting and comfortable. Highly recommend the port poached figs dessert as well, very unique and wonderful flavors. Can not recommend this place highly enough!
