229 Parks - Denali National Park

We loved our evening at 229 Parks. The service was welcoming and gracious and the food was excellent. This place is such an amazing treat, located near Denali National Park, one of the most beautiful places on earth. Everything about our meal was extra special and filled with delight.

Absolutely loved it! Terrific menu using local foods. Hard to believe such a great place does it so perfect, way out in the middle of nowhere. Meant for the tourists in Denali, too far for locals, but if you can make it there, worth it.

This is a very elegant restaurant with James Beard award-winning cuisine. There may be some delays between courses, but you are informed about that in advance. I really enjoyed the Beef Tenderloin and the Key Lime Tart. The wine selection is excellent; I chose a Cabernet.

The food, service, and atmosphere at 229 Parks were all exceptional. I would say that the king crab ravioli was the standout dish of the evening. Be sure to make a reservation to ensure you don't miss out on this fantastic restaurant!
