Panera Bread - Davenport

It's always dirty and the bathrooms always gross. I'm not sure if the goal is to make everyone only order to go or what. Over 20 tables in here and every one of them dirty. Certain parts of the meal are not great either. Under rippened avocado, wilted lettuce, the big chunks of cheese on sandwhich not melted. I'm not a Karen, just tired of people not caring.

Very tasty food, but THEY’RE ALWAYS OUT OF SOUFFLÉS!! And this morning they also were out of Asiago bagels so after my wife ordered a sandwich with one we had to substitute that.

I've decided to give this Panera a second chance, but unfortunately, my experience hasn't improved. The last time I visited, our salad was so spoiled that we had to throw it away. It really makes you wonder what else they might be hiding if they're serving rotten lettuce. To make matters worse, I saw one of the staff members, while wearing gloves, push down garbage and then immediately turn around to grab a bread bowl and rip out the center to prepare it for soup. It was quite off-putting.

I’m giving this restaurant 4 stars because it lacks booths; the seating mostly consists of small tables with limited space to spread out your belongings. It’s better suited for enjoying a cup of coffee while reading a book, using your cell phone, or scrolling on a Kindle.

I have never been a huge fan of Panera bread. This visit made me understand why. The sandwich was skimpy. The baguette they gave me on the side was hard. And they 're soda had no syrup. It will most definitely be a long time before I go to a Panera bread again, if ever.
