Fuji Pho Cafe - Davenport

Restaurant is very cozy and gorgeous! The food is always good.

First time eating at this place, I would not recommend eating here. We ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi, the food came out Luke warm and I felt like the food was prepped the day before or morning of because it was not fresh especially for the price you pay.

I got there at 8.20 and the person said: only to go because we close at 9pm. Like I need an hour to eat a small soup ?

I had high hopes for this restaurant, but my experience was quite disappointing. I visited on a Sunday, just an hour before closing, and noticed quite a few employees present. However, a short bald man was shouting at the staff for about 10 to 15 minutes. I also noticed that there was a mandatory 18% tip added to all orders on the menu. After I politely asked them to stop the yelling, the bald man turned his aggression towards me, as if he wanted to pick a fight. His employees came out looking embarrassed, smiling nervously. To make matters worse, he made racist remarks towards my wife. I don't believe any business can thrive under such poor management.

The pho was excellent, but the sushi was another story. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but it resembled dog food more than fresh fish. It was the biggest waste of money for food that tasted really unpleasant.
