Sushiya - Dallas

Nice place but too fussy for dinnerPrice was on par with other sushi establishments but food (Sushi, Ton Katsu) portions were smaller than most other restaurants in my experience, leaving taste on the lighter side, still tasty but nothing I would seek out again.Atmosphere was clean and welcoming with large bar dining (single seats)Service felt rushed even though it was not busy (several tables open 630pm) but table clearing was excessively fussy. The server cleaned after anything was set on the table (straw cover, napkins, plates still being eaten) but only asked once if everything was OK before the check came. This gives the impression they are more interested in cycling customers and expediting cleaning than a comfortable dining experience. This seems a great place for a quick in-n-out downtown high traffic lunch spot but not so much for social dining with friends.

Started off with the soft shell crab and the gyoza, absolutely amazing! Clearly popular by the constant flow of people. Sushi was also very good and so fresh.Food: 5/5

Me and my family had dinner here on Saturday evening. No wait even tho a full house. I’ve been coming here about 5 years now. Service is always great. And food is always on point. Fried rice and egg rolls and shrimp tempura we love love here. We even ordered appetizers again they were so good

Wish I had better things to say but didn't even get to order. Was not busy. I was not seated and I stood there waiting to see if I was suppose to seat myself. Then they seated someone else before me. Finally get a seat and wait about 5 min and get a coke... then wait another 25 minutes and no one came to take my order. I wasted half of my lunch. Obviously need younger staff or more workers.
