Ocean Prime - Dallas

Very nice steakhouse. Inside of the restaurant is beautiful. Sat outside for a team dinner at work. Excellent wine selection. Everyone enjoyed the food. Service was excellent and drinks were well made and refilled diligently. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because our entire table ordered medium temperature steak and for some reason mine came out undercooked. Had to send back twice. Manager came over and apologized and removed the steak from our bill which was much appreciated. Excellent seafood appetizers. Definitely a classy restaurant.

It’s a vibe! The bar area on Friday night has great ambiance in addition to the food and drinks. The scallops with risotto and the lamb were cooked perfectly cooked and seasoned well. Appetizers and cocktails did not disappoint and the guitarist is AMAZING. I felt like I was back home in Nola. I couldn’t sit still in my seat. Great for date night or a good time with the ladies for a girls night. Dining room offers a more elegant and quieter ambiance. Definitely not cheap but worth every penny.

I Love Ocean Prime, fine dinning at it's best! Upscale, is when your Ribeye is not Medium Rare and the manager come to your table with apologies and offer of an appetizer plus wine! Other restaurants should take note on how not to make patrons feel bad when the food is not as ordered! This was truly an awesome experience! Ocean Prime has excellent food and Outstanding service! I got a Shrimp Cocktail to eat while waiting on my steak, very yummy! The Point Judith Calamari were very on point! My Ribeye was delicious and yes I had a Moscow Mule with my appetizer and a cab with my steak! My sister had the lamb! We had garlic potatoes, mac cheese and broccoli cauliflower for sides! My cousin also had a steak! We had a wonderful girls night out! So if you want an awesome dinning experience, try Ocean Prime!

Now, let's talk about the service. Derrick truly outdid himself in that lovely Pearl Room. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and provided friendly, professional service throughout the entire evening. Derrick's service was definitely top-notch, and I highly recommend this restaurant and its waitstaff because we were all extremely satisfied.

The food was outstanding. The lobster was cooked perfectly, as were the crab cakes. The valet service was excellent, but it was cash or Cash App only, which meant I had to stand in the rain to transfer money. I wish there were a way to simply add it to my bill, but I understand he’s an independent contractor. His fee was "$5 without tip." The tables were quite close together, so we opted for a booth instead. The prices were definitely justified. I also received a complimentary dessert for my birthday! I took it to go, and it was a delicious chocolate cake.
