What a fantastic spot! The rooftop bar has an amazing atmosphere. The bartenders are really friendly and laid-back. I've been here a few times while visiting Deep Ellum. The wings were absolutely delicious, but the pizza was just okay—I could have done without those little nut pieces in it.

I ordered the chicken waffles with a side of scrambled eggs. The chicken waffles were amazing—full of flavor! However, I could have done without the eggs. On a positive note, the music upstairs was really great! Thanks to Jordan for providing excellent service!

I’m writing this review an hour after I started waiting for my entrée. The beer I was served was at room temperature, and I didn’t receive any plates for our group of five for the appetizers. While the food was good, the service and everything else left much to be desired. You can definitely skip this place—you’re not missing out on anything.

I celebrated my birthday dinner here last night, and it was eight of us total. All of us seemed to have needed to stand up at least once to ask the server or someone else for things we weren?t receiving. The server also even forgot to put in the dishes Iordered so I was left needing to eat from everyone else?s plates because those had already taken so long to come out we didn?twant to wait even longer. Also think it?s a little weird they never mentioned my birthday (I feel like restaurants are alwayscheerful about that and bring a slice of cake or something, but we had to order a cheesecake instead, and of course just likebefore we didn?t get cutlery, and they were being wiped off as they were being brought to the table which didn?t seem superclean in my opinion). The server was having a rough night, but I think the management should have seen this and not let her workthat night every time she walked up to our table she seemed confused and also complaining about the other tables. I feelreally bad she wasn?t having a good night, but at the same time, it was my birthday celebration and we spent way too long therefor me to not even get my food, my friend?s egg rolls were burnt, someone?s drink had a bug in it, etc. We also didn?t get abooth which would?ve been nicer for a celebration, but I didn?t ask about that before so that?s just a side note. The mainproblem was that there was almost a lack of service the whole couple hours we were there, but then we still were automaticallycharged the 20% tip (we were originally supposed to be 10 people but that was still upsetting to see). My main ask is to not letservers work a shift if they?re visibly overwhelmed, and are not doing good mental health wise, because it really impacts theexperience of customers, and is not good for the servers themselves either. If I come back one day it will probably be forbrunch since one of my friends said she enjoyed her brunch experience here.

The energy at this place here for brunch is amazing! A cool atmosphere and the food is really delicious; The prices aren't so bad either. Came here for brunch on Sunday during my visit to Dallas and the place was packed with beautiful and happy people.
