Clark Food And Wine Co. - Dallas

The wine list is great, and service was good. The entrees we ordered (steak and crab roll) were just mediocre. The place is pretty small, probably good for lunch or casual drinks. The desserts weren't on the menu and we ordered the chocolate cake which was surprisingly dry and had a spicy sauce and sugary whipped topping. Needless to say, we weren't fans of the odd combination. Overall a modern casual place to stop by for a drink.

It was just very expensive. 14$ for half a pound of brisket. No sides. That's 28$ a pound for brisket. Pretty ridiculous. It's just a really over priced BBQ joint. And it was empty on a Saturday nite at 730. At first we were only people there. Does not look like bright future for 30$ a pound brisket.

Oh, I don't know but this place just didn't do it for me on multiple levels. Good location on lower Greenville which is experiencing a surge now, good cocktails and busy high energy atmosphere but .....truly overly loud noisy. Drinks were slow, in fact I didn't get mine until we spoke to the manager. Food was so so. Arancini were crisp outside but mushy inside indeterminate as to filling, fried artichoke hearts could have come from Friday's, meatballs had been sitting around were tepid(good taste but needed to be hot). Main courses were ok--fish was fishy, quail needed salt or something -it was bland. Peach cobbler really good. Waitress somewhat snarky inattentive as to housekeeping stuff like water, crumbling the table, bringing the bill. Maybe it was restaurant week but Clark doesn't merit a revisit esp. as there are lots of options around.

We decided to try out Clark for restaurant week since we had never been here before. The food portions were ample and everything was excellent. Service was pretty good; neither exceptional nor poor. We really enjoyed our meal here and will try it again for sure.

We loved this restaurant. Tried it for restaurant week and were blown away. Definitely plan to go back for nicer date night spots with my husband. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented. The brisket meatballs were amazing, along with the crispy artichokes. The brisket, pulled pork, and ribs were perfect.
