Zizzi was good. Service was brisk. Seating was comfortable. Place was clean, wasn't in the bathrooms. Kitchen is visible from dining area and food was hot and taste good. Price was reasonable. Menu had good selection.
Great lunch venue. Fantastic meals all round, whether a salad, pasta or pizza we were all very happy. The only downside was the very average coffee.
1. **Garlic Bread with Mozzarella (£6.15)** - This garlic bread topped with gooey mozzarella is served with a delightful caramelized balsamic drizzle. 2. **Calzone Pollo Spinaci (£12.95)** - A delicious calzone filled with roasted chicken, speck, spinach, and mushrooms, all enveloped in a creamy mozzarella béchamel sauce and adorned with slices of coppa ham. 3. **King Prawn Linguine (£12.25)** - Linguine topped with succulent king prawns and zoodles (courgette strips) in a spicy Roquito chili, tomato, and white wine sauce. 4. **Golden Millionaire’s Slice (£5.85)** - A decadent dessert featuring a base of chocolate chip cookie, layered with salted toffee and a rich chocolate ganache. 5. **Pasta Crisps (Complimentary)** - A crispy starter served on the house. **Review:** To start our meal, we ordered the Garlic Bread with Mozzarella and Pasta Wars. I was absolutely blown away by the first bite of the garlic bread. It was a true flavor explosion! The gooey cheese melted perfectly on the soft garlic bread, complemented wonderfully by the rich caramelized balsamic drizzle. The cheese stretched enticingly from each slice, leaving me speechless! This was the cheesiest garlic bread I’ve ever tasted; it was like a mini cheese pizza in its delightful flavor.
The restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The menu offered a wide variety of choices, with detailed descriptions of the meals, including ingredients. The prices were great, and I couldn't complain about the value for money. The dessert options were also beautifully presented, although not all of them were available during my visit. Nonetheless, Zizzi was definitely worth the trip. Keep up the good work!
