Contribuiți la feedbackWhat a great Pub. Came here for dinner on a Tuesday night. The bar man was incredibly friendly and welcoming, took the time to look after us. We had a wonderful meal which was fresh and beautifully cooked. It was so good we came back the next night and were not disappointed. The food is reasonably priced. You can tell it is cooked to order, service is friendly and pub really quaint. Definitely recommend it.
Owlswick morris once again returned to the coach and horses for our excellent may day breakfast. The welcome , service, full english breakfast, plus tea/coffee and toast was excellent as usual. The new gents and ladies toilets are really perfect of a 5 star hotel quality. We danced as usual outside the pub to the delight of the locals. We will always return for our excellent, brilliant breakfast to such a brilliant, amazing ,wonderful, friendly village pub. Who also serve excellent Donnington beer.
After a day out at Hidcote Gardens, we followed the brown signs (Coach Horses) off the A424. The public house is situated on the road side in the village (1/2 mile), we were made to feel very welcome, although it might not be the place to go for a quick bite, it was not slow service, but relaxed. We will certainly visit again, as the food was excellent and well presented. I hope this post encourages people to visit this pub and others like it, as they are well worth the turn off the main road. As a plus the pub welcomes dogs
Lovely, warm welcome. Food was fabulous and staff very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We booked for lunch, having walked from Moreton-in-Marsh. Lots of options available to add this stop into your walk. Would definitely go back.
If you’re looking for the perfect Sunday roast, look no further. My friend and I turned up last Sunday, 3 September, (my birthday) for an early dinner, unfortunately we were informed that last orders for food was at 4pm. We arrived at 3 minutes past but the landlord happily took our order and we were served one of the best, sumptuous, delicious roast meals I’ve ever had. My friend had the chicken which was a small mountain of meat, floating on a Yorkshire pudding and roasties. I had the lamb which was melt in the mouth and we were served baton carrots, cabbage and cheesy leeks which were freshly cooked and steaming hot, with lashings of gravy. Absolutely hit the spot, and fantastic value for money. My little puppy was welcomed too and she enjoyed the lamb and left over bits of chicken as well. Highly recommended.
