Brook Inn - Cork

Great lunch great service- we'll go back! Thanks to all

I use to live in Glanmire long time ago, on my trip to Cork ,we went to Brook Inn , just fantastic its a great place to see musicians and have a pleasant moment ,delicious food and fresh beer, highly recomanded.

Myself and my husband Neil have been to this lovely spot many times before, and it really never disappoints. We went there again for dinner yesterday. Even though the place was very busy, we were seated quickly. I had the chicken wings as a starter and Neil had the soup. Both were delicious. As a main I had the duck leg, which was cooked to perfection. Same goes for Neil's main, turkey and ham. As a dessert we orderded two cheese cakes, which were absolutely divine. The staff on the floor (John, Sarah, Patrick..just to mention a few) was incredibly attentive and friendly. Nothing was asked to much. Thank you also to Greg in the kitchen and all the hard-working staff there. Once again, we immensely enjoyed our vist to the Brook and it will for sure not be long until we return. We can greatly recommend this restaurant as a suberb place to eat. A massive thank you again to everyone!

I ordered the Turkey with veg, boy was it overcooked and dry. I was hoping the gravy would somehow wash it down, but no. As you got so little. For 15.90 it's not worth it. And when I ordered a beer it was like an inquision. I was clean, but not friendly.

Lovely place set in a wonderful scenic area Arrived for a pre booked lunch but the host looked as if she didn’t want us there.
