Zorba's Greek - Columbia

I hadn't eaten at Zorbas in the Irmo area for about 15 years, primarily because Grecian Gardens was closer and offered delicious moussaka. However, GG stopped serving moussaka around two years ago, and I recently discovered that Zorbas makes it. So, I decided to order lunch from Zorbas today and quickly brought it home. They really went above and beyond to provide a fantastic meal. The moussaka was incredible, and they even included extra sauce for added flavor. Every item I ordered was neatly packaged in a white paper bag, which demonstrated their care for presentation. Additionally, their salads were excellent; I'm still raving about their grape leaves, which were filled, rolled, and then topped with an amazing lemon sauce! I will definitely be returning. By the way, their lunch special featured a leg of lamb for just over $10—wow!

We had not been here in years and wanted to give it a try again. Generous portions but Lacking salt and flavor (even the bread was doughy and no flavor). Everything needs to be repainted, deep cleaned and updated.

We have been eating here for years. But as of last night I will never be returning. We had cockroaches run across the table as we were eating our dinner there were flies everywhere. The service was awful. And when confronting management about the roaches. She got an attitude and then proceeded to tell us that it's the South and it is normal to have roaches. If your restaurant is clean you do not have roaches running all over the tables. You also as a manager do not conduct yourself by yelling at people you do not get an attitude when someone is trying to give you a complaint. I would think as a middle age 40 year old woman you would know how to run a restaurant and how she conducted herself by yelling all the way out the door and across the parking lot is not. Very sad but we will never be returning

I have went on two different occasions. The first time I had the gyro and the lemon cake. Both we're very delicious. That Kate slice took up the whole tray and only cost $7. The second time I hey I got the steak skewer, great potatoes and Greek salad. The steak had absolutely no flavor. I ordered an extra Greek dressing just to pour over it. The cabals were cooked to perfection medium rare just had no flavor. The potatoes barely had flavor. The salad was very good and the chicken wings were very good also.

This place always has great food. Steak, chicken, pasta you can't go wrong. Each dish I have tried is seasoned well. The service is friendly and quick. They are always busy but I have never had to wait on a table. The prices are very reasonable and you get alot of food. This would be a good place for having a big party.
