After walking for 45 minutes, I stopped at Subway to get a cup of water. When I approached the counter, I was greeted by someone who did not appear to be of American descent. She rudely informed me that the only water available was bottled and would cost $2.50. Upon asking about who owned the place, I found out that she was indeed the owner. Another customer then pointed out that there was a water fountain on the drink machine, which only added to my frustration. Feeling lightheaded, I decided against spending $1.69 on a simple cup of water, especially after being treated so disrespectfully by someone who clearly had no regard for customer service. I will not be returning to that Subway again. Fortunately, the kind staff at Wendy's offered me a cup of water for free and even invited me to sit down. That’s what true customer service looks like.
Every time I go to this restaurant, it seems like I'm getting less and less meat. Today, I watched as they scooped and then shook out almost half of it. I looked it up, and it’s supposed to be a full scoop. It feels like they're trying to maximize their profits because I'm only getting half the meat compared to other places. It’s really frustrating—any other Subway gives you double the portion. The ownership and management are also lacking; they clearly don’t prioritize customer satisfaction. Additionally, the service is incredibly slow with no sense of urgency at all. I’m getting tired of spending my lunch break waiting around. I’d much rather drive a little further where I can get quicker service and a decent amount of meat.
Wow, everything was absolutely delicious! I really love the BMT, especially when it’s toasted!
The service here is excellent! My sub was prepared perfectly, and the staff was incredibly friendly and polite. I will definitely keep returning to this location. The woman who worked tonight at the Subway on Assembly Street in downtown Columbia truly deserves recognition for her outstanding service.
I hadn't had Subway in quite some time, but I was pleasantly surprised by my recent visit. The prices were a bit higher than I expected, but I decided to go for the rotisserie chicken footlong, and it was both delicious and full of flavor. It paired well with provolone cheese—though I believe any cheese would complement it nicely—and I opted for BBQ sauce, although chipotle sauce might have been an even better choice. I would certainly recommend it, but just be aware that the sandwich costs $8.83 after tax, and that doesn’t include a drink or chips. Unfortunately, I don’t have any photos, but it looks just like it does in the menu. That’s all!
