Steve's Classic Burgers - Columbia

Pricey ...I. dont know how a family can afford them.

I had a Philly cheesesteak that featured excellent steak, onions, and peppers, along with unmelted provolone cheese, although the bread was a bit too soft. Overall, it was quite tasty. My mother tried a smash burger, which was just average—not what you’d expect from a place known for its burgers. The oddest part was the giant cross above the door and the large Bibles on each table. At least the staff didn’t include any unsolicited religious remarks.

The people were very nice. The service was really slow. And the burger was very ho-hum. I hate giving it such a low rating but it just wasn't my cup of tea. I found the meat to be very nondescript and unflavorful. You can go to the toppings bar and add as much as you like but the only thing I tasted was the toppings. Prices are good but don't go in there starving cuz you have to wait sometime for the burger to be completed.

First time ever coming here and I was immediately met with poor customer service. Me and a lady friend went there to try it out, and we stood back to let the cashier know we were looking and needed a second. She literally gave us a second and asked what can she get for us. I told her one moment and she rolled her eyes. Having someone like this taking orders is ridiculous, since the counter is right in front of the door. I left went to McDonald’s and gotten better service. The atmosphere wasn’t that great and it looked like an episode of kitchen nightmare to be honest. Will not be revisiting, I can see there may be a “culture” there.

Stopped in here on a whim, so great. Burger was fantastic and staff really nice. Food came really quick and hot.
