Lizard's Thicket - Columbia

This was my first time at this restaurant. My waitress, who had an English accent, came to my table and asked if I was ready to order. I asked for a menu first, and she replied that most people look online. She did bring me a menu, but then she forgot about me! She went on to wait on a family of four, bringing them water and taking their order. Eventually, she came back to my table and jokingly said she forgot to take my order. By that point, I had lost my appetite and was not happy with the service. I ended up getting my food to go and found it in my fridge later on. I wanted to share my experience, but everyone will have their own. Good luck and happy eating.

The food was incredible and the service from the waitress was excellent! Everything about this place was fantastic. I will definitely be returning.

Unfortunately, the server kept referring to me as "babe" and "baby," which I didn't appreciate, especially since my wife was clearly on FaceTime with me. It was uncomfortable and definitely not a norm I'm used to in this area. The ketchup bottles and table were a bit dirty, but nothing too extreme that I couldn't clean myself.

Choice of breakfast or lunch between 11am-noon Saturday Sunday. Very good Southern-style food, cooked to order usually. Serving staff is the best around.

This place is just great down home southern cooking they have fried Flounder, Bake Ham,Salmon Patty,Chicken Fried Steak,Okra and Tomatoes, Cabbage, Blackeyed Peas, Yams, Squash Casserole just BOMB food
