Fireman's Cafe - Clinton

So disappointed. Had the sloping cake from the truck at an outdoor event and it was indescribably delicious. I couldn't wait to go to the store. twice tried, but it was closed on Sunday and for the second time they were at an event. The third time is the establishment. I chose a day and time when they were open. I ordered two plates. Unfortunately, they made my order wrong. One of them has no shrimp and the second had only one. I ordered Mac cheese and greens for one and potato salad and green for the other. I just got greens in one. That was disappointing. Then nothing tastes indescribably delicious. Ok would be the best word to describe the two plates. I don't give up on Firemans yet. Next time I get a sandwich and pommes.

I found a mood after the reviews. I order the fried shrimps w/ collar and green beans. I waited in my car while preparing my order that it actually delivered to my car when it was finished!!! It was so good! So good indeed, that I ordered the same meal on the following evening. Please support small companies, especially black companies. You won't regret it!

So I stopped at this point with my friend and let me tell you the crab cakes do not disappoint that this place should be on DC, appropriate for fresh seafood. This place was made to order and gave large parts. 5 , 5 , 5 in my book! Beautiful little spot nested from the highway! If you flash, would you miss it?

I had so great hopes for this place after reading reviews, but was left disappointed. I have the rib sandwich that comes with about 4 rib pieces (can be 5) and 2 pieces of bread. It had no taste and did not come with Bbq sauce, although I demanded it. I also have the frits with crabs and shrimps, but there were very little crabs and shrimps. I think I only saw 2 or 3 baby shrimps and there were hardly any crabs. This was the only thing that had potential when it gave proper portions for the price.

1st time going here. 5 Stars for Quality of Food and Customer Service. There was a snafu with the order but had no issues correcting. The food was delicious and worth every penny. Coming from Mississippi this was a real treat. The BBQ was banging and the Shrab Fries (Phenonemal). Keep it up guys!
