Jones - Clane

Nice spot for food, staff very friendly and service ok,some staff more on the ball than others one girl there seemed to be doing nothing only chatting with her family who were sat at the bar. Men's toilets are a disgrace, the smell would kill ya, if they sorted this out it be nice place.

Had a beautiful seabass seafood risotto on Sunday and it was to die for.

Been living in clane for a few months and decided to try Jones. Lovely atmosphere, classic pub feel. Sadly it took quite some time to get seated even though it was quite?. Once we got seated our waitress got us drinks but then decided to abandoned us leaving us waiting for ages till a nice waitress came over to help us out and took our order. She was running the show while most of the staff sat around doing nothing? Anyways once we got our food it was very tasty and was very satisfied. Cooked exactly how I like it, granted it could be little dry to others but for me was perfect. But then started the issue of staff being non-existing again? We got our food taken away and then never seen from anyone again for the bill. I swear you could walk out of the place and no one would know? Anyways we eventually decided we had to go flag someone down and got our bill and paid at the bar. Amazing place and food but terribly let down by the very poor staff.

Very good pub grub served with a friendly smile. But all the good was undone by the state and quality of the toilets. They are an insult to customers. Mr Jones, please update/upgrade the toilets

Its perfect for somebody who would like to drink and dine. One the other hand if you are looking for a peaceful ambience to dine, this wouldn't be it. Since its a bar and lounge it could be a bit noisy for people who are looking to just dine. Food menu is a bit limited. But the service was quick and well mannered.
