Aboretum - Carlow

Absolutely gorgeous garden centre. The food in the cafe is always fabulous, the ladies/gents shop is quaint, lovely clothes, they should try to cater to young people too though. Alot of the clothes are aimed at older folk and I go there quite a bit, it would be nice to see. A wide choice of plants and flowers, the small garden is lovely to stroll around, the water in the coy fish pool was sadly filthy..the mini maze is fun, could use a bit of maintaining though. The main shop is lovely. But alot of the items are expensive. I'm assuming as they are from designers? They could use a wider choice of books. But the way the shop is done is only fabulous. The little fairy garden is a lovely touch! Sometimes I can get a few bargains and its a great place to go for a day out. So long story short, some parts need a bit of maintenance, fabulous food/coffee lovely staff and to be fair the pro's weigh much more than the con's!

I love this place especially the food from the cafe i think my husband neighbour and i go there everyweek now for food always fab staff are great very helpfull great plants in there garden center for both inside and out and you will always pick up a gift for any occasion esspecially at christmas worth a visit..

Fabulous garden centre to walk around. I love this place. It's like a little piece of heaven. We got there a little late so hot food in cafe wasn't great. It was Almost gone. So the food was disappointing that we left it after us.

It is So well set out..... Amazing variety of plants and accessories, staff are numerous and knowledgeable as well as extremely helpful. Restaurant food excellent quality, service is great too. Really impressed by free water fountains with ice to enjoy with your meal. Highly recommend.

Excellent, had a family birthday here today and couldn't rate this place high enough, excellent service, excellent food, made a special day perfect, many many thanks, we WILL be back :-D.
