Schooners - Carlingford

We went into the restaurant that was half empty and the man at the door said we'll have to wait 5 minutes for a table, to get a drink and wait in the beer garden. We were forced to buy a drink pay in advance and wait. We expected the beer garden to be busy... there was no body... 5 minutes passed, 15 minutes 25 minutes and nobody came. We decided to leave and while leaving we saw the restaurant still half empty, at the back completely empty and the man acomodating people that came after us and did not have to pass the stunt of the drink in the beer garden... so unprofessional. Also to be noted that the place is quite dirty, the menus, the table, were all sticky and torn. The place is completely outdated and the menu, as you can see, is ordinary canteen grubb.

Staff always very pleasant. This was our 5th eating there and as before food very nice.

Sat us in a cramped corner even though there were multiple empty tables and we requested to be moved. The family next to us (that had to share an armrest) ended up leaving with their drinks.

We ate well. Small flat the name of the restaurant as indicated on Google is not at all visible from the outside we had a bit of trouble finding it. Item improved

The Food was a lot better than we expected, not your regular pub grab even though the place would suggest it so. Very friendly staff
