Tosca - Carleton

We went randomly to tosca and enjoyed a very tasty and gourmet style meal. the service was excellent and attentive. best restaurant during our trip around CFSP"E

We went early and we were sitting on the deck as it was a nice night. our service was very attentive, despite remote location. we enjoyed all our appetizers and nets. the kalbspiccata and prosciutto and melone were especially good as tiramisu.

How refreshing, attentive, knowledgeable service! we were so satisfied with our dinner here with beautiful salads, fine pizzas and well prepared snacks. Seafood pizza was dressed by garnel, scallop bits, parmesan and a wodka like sauce. margherita pizza was cooked with fresh basil,...mozzarella and red sauce, both crusts were tasty with tasty beats in exactly the right quantities. cannoli for dessert was delicious, although the filling was not traditional. a beautiful experience! they close at the beginning of October for the season.

The food leaves much to wish. only the price is high. the seafood linguini was dry and tasteless. even a little pasta water would have improved the texture. as far as taste is concerned, some white wine and fresh herbs would have gone a long way....The pizza with mozzarella, rapini and was missing from rapini and sausage. we were excited when we saw the espresso machine and looked forward to a good cappuccino after drinking drip coffee all week. the coffee beans are bought from the local coffee maker. it was really bitter. I usually drink my coffee without sugar. I couldn't even drink it after I added sugar! that was the last stray. we complained about the coffee and thankfully they did not invite us for it. to the conclusion of a positive note...the mateo mule (Italian mosque mule) was good!

I can’t say enough positive things about this amazing restaurant. It is worth coming to Carelton sur Mer just to dine here! We loved it so much the first night we had to come back another. Wonderful food, expertly chosen wines, and a terrific and...super friendly staff. Salut!
