Sandy's Deli - Cambria

Are you looking for a smoothie shop? Then Sandy is your place. Smoothies were delicious and a good size for over $7.00. I noticed many flies. I think more than average. But it's fix to rain so hopefully it's just a 1 time occurrence. That's the only reason I gave it three stars.

The staff was so friendly that I hate to leave a bad review, but I had a really disappointing experience here. I ordered a turkey with Swiss cheese on a French roll (no sourdough rolls here, which is a bummer). The sandwich was really small and bought on a store, Bland Roll. The real kicker was that they put white American cheese instead of the Swiss I ordered. It was really rough, and I'm not sure why they would think I would notice?t? I ate some bites and had to get rid of the rest. Total waste of money?

I ordered a sandwich for lunch called Pastrami. It was great that I had bought two, but I went to the beach to eat it. The staff was all very friendly and gracious as it was towards the end of a presumably busy season (I worked in a tourist city and at the end of the season I know I was prickly). I'll be back.

I don't know how I feel in this place. I expected the Burrito to be bigger for the price. I must have forgotten about the Beach Markup... Eating wasn't bad. A friend has a sandwich that was big. Other friends got the soup, which still evacuated after 20 minutes.... Not sure how hot she ate the pot of soup at...

Family owned. Best sandwich ever. Got the Californian. Good size sandwich. I could not finish it. Call ahead. Grabbed dinner and kicked back in the room.
