Sea Chest Oyster - Cambria

We were looking for a place with oysters while vacationing in Cambria. They open at 5:30 and encountered a line when we got there (I think for those looking for tables by the windows) although we got a table right away as did most everyone behind us. Cash only which is unusual but they do have an ATM. Prices might be on the high side but West coast oysters, clam linguini and calamari steak and carrot cake were all quite good. Would definitely recommend, especially at sunset.

Great service and delicious food. Hey there early and you'll get a fascistic view. If you're first in the door at 5:30 you get a special treat. Cash only and there's limited seating, no reservations, do you come early and bring your own happy hour while you wait in line.

Such a sweet and cozy place! It is very small and the waiting time is about an hour. The food was amazing! We loved the east coast of Oyster the most! The Calamari stripes and the large plate of seafood marinara. We didn't like the Chowder or the Clam Pasta! They also accept only CASH, which is not in favour of all.

Waited about an hour, but dinner was amazing! Clam Chowder, salad and shrimp scallop fatuccine cut off with a fine glass of Pinot! The waitress was perfect with the right attention. Small and near quarters, but the food is worth waiting. Large selection of fresh seafood and oysters! Beautiful waiting area where you can have drinks at the fireplace. If in Cambria, don't miss it!

Would give more stars if I could! Close to the closing time, and were still treated with amazing service and hospitality. Served drinks while we waited. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Great service and team work. The food was great too! All we had was delicious! Never had so much seafood in a pasta!
