Worst food at an establishment of this caliber EVER. I have been to Madeline 's several times over the years and sometimes it has been good, sometimes not so much. Tonight WOW. The Champignon app was undercooked puff pastry with raw mushrooms and spinach. We ate it because we had to eat something. The $42 Filet Mignon was a ball shaped piece of stew meat (what you usually trim off of the end of the tenderloin). My plate and my niece 's plate came out 10 minutes after the other guests at our table. The service was great and we did not complain because it was a special occasion night out. At this price point you had better have your kitchen game on at all times. Monday night folks....I worked the hospitality industry in this town in the 90 's and everyone would have been fired for what we got tonight.
