Grasshopper - Calmar

I traveled to Calmar from Edmonton for lunch and discovered this amazing restaurant. The food was simple yet executed beautifully, exactly what I hope for from a dining experience. If we ever return to Calmar, we'll definitely come back here.

I had never heard of this restaurant before, but today my company ordered around 15 pizzas for lunch from there. The food was absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend Grasshoppers to anyone who is looking for a fantastic local spot. It's definitely worth a short drive. The quality of the food makes it worth it! Thank you!

Jumbo Donaire is a bit on the small side, and I found the prices to be higher than at other places in town. However, the food is quite good. A donair with fries costs $24, plus an additional $1.75 for a side of sweet sauce. I work in town and eat out for lunch every day, and I would definitely visit here more often if it weren't such a significant expense.

I ordered a massive order of pizzas from this restaurant for my wedding, and wow was the pizza absolutely amazing! Not only was the food fantastic but the service as well, we called a few days prior to our wedding and the owner was able to accommodate us very well, we were advised that they don’t provide delivery but that they would make an exception for us which was awesome, the only regret we had was not being there at the time of delivery to be able to thank the owner in person when he dropped the delivery off at the hall for us. Highly recommend this place, we had so many people ask us where we ordered the pizza from too, it was a total hit!

Stopped in for lunch while our EV was charging across the street at the Arena.Great sandwiches and friendly staff!
