Riverstone Pub - Calgary

I have been visiting Riverstone Pub approximately once a month for the past year, and the food has consistently been excellent (especially the soup!). I have not experienced any issues with the quality or service during my visits.

I visited this restaurant with three people after a session at the University. It is conveniently located nearby. We decided to order the Fine sixty9 menu, which had 35 cent wings, as a snack. We all enjoyed the saltiness of the wings.

I have sampled everything on the menu and found it to be superior to the typical pub dishes. However, I would like to focus this review on the Saturday special: Fondue. My companions and I have had the pleasure of trying...

We went for the Sunday night fish & chip special and were not disappointed. The fish pieces were tender and crispy, the chips were plentiful and so was the Tartar sauce. I hate places that are stingy with the chips and the Tartar sauce, but Riverstone wasn't. I hope they keep up the good work.

We went for lunch. The lighting in the pub is very poor. It was difficult to read the menu unless we moved beside the window or found a table directly under a light. Food was average, nothing special.
