El Hornito - Cafayate

The best empanadas I ever tried! They have the right filling, the dough is spectacular and the price unbeatable. They bring them to the touch and with spicy sauce (soft bass). We also ate tamales (very rich) and locro, which was nothing exceptional but good. For dessert cayote with walnut, with an old half cheese that could have been better. Totally recommended in general

Very nice place to go to eat in family or friends, or buy to take. It is a bodegon style place, subsurant, peña, traditional from the north. It has a varied letter with very affordable prices. The best are empanadas (only meat) and tamales. One point to improve is the maintenance of the bathrooms and the attention time (they demolish quite). If you go to Cafayate for a meal, make it in El Hornito.
