La Carreta De Don Olegario - Cafayate

The restaurant has a good outdoor seating area overlooking the main square in Cafayate. We went for the Ejecutiva lunch menu, which offers a selection of starters, nets and desserts for around $6USD. House wine is also cheap available in various sizes Carafes. The foods were good, but nothing special (maybe if we left the main menu, it would have been better who knows? but we enjoyed the environment.

The restaurant is located on the main square of the city, well located and easy to find. You have a standard Argentine meal, but we were a little disappointed. The quality of food is not very good, even if prices are very convenient.

Nice food and reasonably priced! you can sit outside with view on the square or inside when it is too hot outside. We had the steak and the fish, both where nice!

I had a great evening here, wonderful atmosphere with traditional music. I opted for the set menu which was great value for money and the staff and owner went out of their way to help me. Highly recommended.

Definitely one of the classiest establishments on the square, friendly, tender steaks and great wine.
